Join us for a special Fundraising event for H.A.A.M. Day, September 19th, where Monks, Parker Jazz, & Elephant Room team up to celebrate and showcase Austin’s wealth of jazz talent, in support of H.A.A.M.’s mission to provide healthcare to Austin musicians in need.
Monks is proud to partner with the Women in Jazz Association Inc., showcasing the Women in Jazz Sextet! Monks is pledging 100% of ticket sales and donations from the event to be passed on to HAAM for their mission! This is the first event in a 3-part series with Parker Jazz following at 7pm, and Elephant Room following at 9pm

Women in Jazz Association, Inc. was founded by Pamela and Kevin Hart to provide performance opportunities and experiences to professional and amateur jazz vocalists in the Austin metropolitan area. This all-women-show showcases Austin, Texas’ jazz talent and aptitude from musicians who are passionate about jazz performance, education and its importance to the world. Throughout history women have shaped the jazz scene with sultry and sassy singing, dynamic drumming, haunting horns, beguiling bass and poetic piano. Jazz is in them, and they perform it, teach it, advocate for it and passionately share it.

Please Note: This is a live-taping, so we’ll be enforcing a whisper-policy! Cold bottles of still and sparkling water will be available for purchase, but this event is BYOB. Ice will be available if needed, wine keys and 9oz cups provided! 22 free parking spaces onsite are first-come-first-serve.
