Austin, TX, where Dana Clark was born and reared, is the city where she began honing her skills in the church at the age of six. Dana knew she wanted to be star and capture the hearts of those who came encounter with her. Dana’s inspirations are many, and to name a few; the late great Ella Fitzgerald, Patti LaBelle and Yolanda Adams.
Dana Clark was one of twelve people chosen to participate in the 1997 Grammy Awards festivities, which included recording a Jazz CD at the Hit Factory Studio in New York City. she was the only participant representing Texas. With her melodic vocals and eye-catching personality Dana frequently performs around Austin at special events and clubs. Recently she made it to Hollywood on the 2003 American Idol II Television Show. As Dana continues to strive for excellence she reminds herself that she is blessed with wonderful family and friends who support her unconditionally and she knows that God is definitely in the blessing business.
