The International Jazz Day show is an annual celebration of jazz  music, composers, and performers around the world. This year’s Austin event is a collaboration by the Texas Jazz Society, the Women in Jazz Association, the Austin Jazz Society, the Austin Traditional Jazz Society, and The Long Center.

• Women In Jazz Association presents… International Women in Jazz: A Celebration featuring Elena Diaz, Sylvie Rider Young & Pamela Hart and supported by Peggy Stern-piano, Masumi Jones-drums, Jessica Valls-bass, and Laura Mordecai-percussion.

• Texas Jazz Society presents… The music of BETO y los FAIRLANES arranged for big band by Paul Baker.

• Austin Jazz Society presents… Austin Youth Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Diego Rivera.

• Austin Traditional Jazz Society presents… Silver Creek Jazz Band providing a lively welcome to the celebration performing in the lobby upon guests’ arrival beginning at 5:30pm, as well as between sets.
