Purpose of the Workshop
The Women in Jazz Singers’ Performance Workshop provided vocalists the opportunity to improve their performance techniques through a structured development approach and through performance coaching. Singers had an opportunity to receive personal attention to improve vocal and performance quality. This workshop is directed towards vocal jazz performance.
Who Should Attend?
Singers who are serious about strengthening their skills as a performer of primarily jazz vocals. This is not a voice training workshop. It is for participants who have the voice and the talent, yet desire some performance skills to prepare for professional live performance. School-age singers and adults (male and female) are encouraged to attend.
Although the workshop is divided into two sessions, participants are expected to attend both sessions.
