Women in Jazz Concert Series presented Pamela Hart in “Lady Day: A Tribute to Billie Holiday” on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the beautiful One World Theatre, 7701 Bee Caves Road, Austin, TX at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM —two fabulous shows!
This performance featured Pamela Hart doing what she does best—classic jazz standards made popular by one of the best jazz singers of all time, Billie Holiday. Pamela was accompanied by the James Polk Quintet, consisting of Dr James Polk (piano), Kevin Scott (drums), Aaron Allen (bass), Mike Malone (sax), and a Sarah Driver. If attened this Women in Jazz Concert or had heard Pamela before, you know you were part of an outstanding evening.
