Charelesa Russell, Secretary of Women in Jazz Association, Inc., has served on the board of directors for 10 years. Her involvement includes secretary, concessions manager, volunteer coordinator, workshop instructor, and administrator.
She will lead the “Making a Brighter Future with Vision Boards” which was debuted in February 2017 and continues to be a popular segment of the ATX Youth Summit.
Charelesa is employed at the Austin Urban League.
